Gorgeous rare to find ‘Omega’- British United Toy Manufacturing Co. Ltd. mohair teddy bear, dating from 1930s
made of gold mohair,
feels to be stuffed with wood-wool and kapok throughout the body and wood-wool in the head,
fully jointed,
has got dark orange and black glass eyes,pronounced clipped muzzle,
original vertically stitched nose with nostrils, inverted Y shape mouth stitching,
original felt pads in good condition to feet,
paw pads have been recovered with matching felt,has got inoperative squeaker in his tummy.
Teddy Bear is approx. 15″ (39 cm) tall.
Condition – item is in good antique condition with slight general wear, thinning and balding patches around wrists (please see pictures).
