ITEM DESCRIPTION
This stunning 1950’s Steiff bear is for sale in excellent condition – is all original, vintage, 15 inch chunky German Steiff mohair Teddy Bear and is really in stunning condition for the age and dates back to the early 1950’s.
This is an exceptionally handsome bear, measuring 15 inches standing, 12 inches in seated position and is in excellent clean condition throughout – please see photos.
This bear has been very well cared for and comes from a pet free, smoke free home.
Teddy has a silver raised script Steiff button and is guaranteed to be 100% Steiff.
He is made from a really nice, top quality grade of mohair, slightly longer than the short haired Steiff bears – it is medium length in a lovely caramel colour and the mohair coverage is 99%. This bear is fully jointed – all his joints are in good working order – there are no loose ones so sits perfectly – there are no rips or tears to the mohair fabric and the filling is 100% straw.
Teddy has the most handsome face with original Steiff glass eyes and original embroidered nose.
Teddy’s paw and foot pads are all original and in excellent condition. Ted comes with a lovely hand stiched collar which you could remove if you preferrer He will be sent out by courier on a next day delivery.
