‘Fleur’ is a small vintage French teddy bear from my own collection looking for a new home. She is made from cotton plush and is all original and with the exception of some loss to her nose stitching is in good condition for her age. She is difficult to date but is likely to be from the late 1940’s to early 1950’s. Fleur is wearing a beautifully handmade vintage fully lined velvet jacket with embroidered and ribbon applique detailing.

Jointed limbs
Fixed head (as is usual in these small old French teddy bears)
Original painted back glass eyes
Original nose and mouth stitching now quite sparse
Original claw stitching all intact
Firmly stuffed throughout with wood wool
Original cotton cloth paw and foot pads a little stained with age
Some thinning to cotton plush
No holes or tears

‘Fleur’ is clean with no nasty smells and will be sent within 3 working days of receiving payment.
As she is now a collectors teddy bear she is unsuitable for young children.
