Antique / Vintage 18 inch 1960s Twyfords/farnell Mohair teddy bear
Welcome to my auction I specialise in original vintage bears in the best possible condition, so the more discerning collectors can source genuine old bears that they will be proud to own.
I have been working with bears for 40 years now, so any purchase you make from me can be done with the greatest of confidence – I have many very happy customers, many of whom are repeat buyers who appreciate the quality and integrity in my listings!

ITEM DESCRIPTION Layaway available on all bears please ask for details This is an all original, 18 inch Twyford Farnell mohair Teddy Bear dating back to 1964 – she is in excellent condition and does have her makers label in her side seam. She is an exceptionally beautiful bear, measuring 18 inches standing, 14 inches in seated position and is in excellent clean condition throughout – please see photos
She comes from a pet free, smoke free home. Teddy is made from a really nice grade of mohair and is a stunning rich tan colour and has 99% mohair coverage.
She is fully jointed – all her joints are in good working order and she is soft filled. She has the most endearing face with original brown glass eyes and original black nose.
The paw and foot pads are all in excellent condition.
All in all this is a superb example of a 1960s English bear in excellent, clean condition and you can buy with confidence – this is a wonderful old Teddy with bags of character looking for a new home! Ted will be sent out by Royal Mail on a next day delivery. (except weekends).
