Antique vintage 1920’s stuffed soft toy monkey
Made of blackplush faux fur and pink felt fabrics with cotton blue top & red woven tweed trousers , grey cap and original Mother of Pearl button eyes.
A characterful soft toy the monkey was a popular character for early to mid 20th century children , this is a home-made one but the important makers Shucco & Steiff produced models which are very prized nowadays
This toy is a hand-made heirloom – greatly loved and kept in my family since it was made new and handed down to me being the youngest in the family in my own childhood. From a pet-free no smoking household.
