Amazing ancient old large “30” antique teddy bear from my collection. Have been meaning to repair him for some time but feel guilty he is still waiting. Not sure of his maker possible German. He is very large and heavy and is adorable expression. Open mouth with red cotton tongue…
He measures 30″ in height and is completely straw filled. Mohair sparse but golden in places. Large humped back and he has really long curvy arms and open mouth with little tonque. Long snout original glass eyes. This old chap is a really old bear and as a real treasure to add to any collection… He sometimes growls if coaxed with honey :-)). Needs sympathetic restoration his feet pads are more or less still there. His arm pads need renewing or restoring. He does also have the odd old repair and needs some holes stitching here and his nose and mouth stitching replaced to preserve him for another generation of bear lovers. He shows his loved years on his face…
Huge curved ears big chunky teddy….all in all a lovely old chap….that now needs a new home
