A delightfully sad looking pair! The rabbit has its original Merrythought label but the dog (poodle?) has no label – possibly Einco? They are both in very loved, tatty, worn-out condition, The dog has eyes replaced with old glass buttons and both have hardly any mohair left. Lots of repair stitching evident and rabbit is in desperate need of stitching to his tummy! Rabbit seems to be stuffed with soft cotton type wadding whereas dog feels as though he may have straw in there somewhere. Dog may have sat up at one time but very floppy front legs now. They are adorable because they are in such bad shape!
Dog – approx 22cm tall if he could sit up
Rabbit – approx 24cm from head to tail
