This little cat was probably made by the German firm of Einco. And dates from the 1920’s or 30’s. He has large white glass eyes with green threaded irises and black pupils. He has a pink embroidered nose and claws. And a black zig zag mouth. His ears are made of felt and his mohair was probably white originally. There is a press squeaker which no longer squeaks next to his tail. His front legs are wired so they can move position. He measures 23cm from the tip of his paws to the end of his tail and 16cm from his base to the top of his head. He is play worn but in quite good condition for his age. The felt ears are slightly nibbled around the edge. The mohair is patchy in parts. And he could do with the odd stitch between his legs. He has been in my collection for many years, but the time has come to downsize hence the sale. Anyone interested outside of the UK please apply for postage costs.
