THIS IS AN ANTIQUE TEDDY BEAR WITH STRAW FILLING AND GLASS EYES FOR TLC.THE GOLDEN MOHAIR BEAR IS KNOWN AS A STICK BEAR AND HAS WIRE CONNECTING JOINTS. THE BEAR HAS A PRONOUNCED SNOUT WITH HORIZONTAL BLACK STITCHED NOSE AND WIRE BACKED YELLOW GLASS EYES AND SMALL CUPPED EARS. HE HAS A SMALL HUMP TO HIS BACK AND SWIVEL HEAD AND JOINTS.HE IS SOLD FOR RESTORATION PURPOSE ONLY AS HIS ORIGINAL FELTS PADS ARE HOLED SHOWING THE STRAW IN PLACES AND THE LEFT IS VERY POORLY COVERED WITH REMANTS OF ORIGINAL FELT. HE HAS LOST HIS ORIGINAL WIRE TO HIS ARMS JOINTS AND THIS HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH STRING. HE HAS DAMAGE TO THE LEFT LEG WHERE THE WIRE HAS PULLED THROUGH AND CREATED HOLING TO THE TOP OF THE LEG AND REVEALING STRAW FILLING. NB THE LEG IS LOOSELY ATTACHED. HE HAS NO MAKERS NAME BUT MAY BE AMERICAN FROM HIS CHARACTERISTICS.HIS MOHAIR IS FADED AND SPARSE IN PLACES. THANK YOU FOR LOOKING
