ANTIQUE STEIFF MINIATURE TEDDY BEAR WITH BUTTON IN EARClick images to enlargeDescriptionWelcome to my auction. Description; This is an antique miniature teddy bear (one of three I am offering this week that have come from the same private home and this is the first time they have ever been offered for sale). The bear has a Steiff metal badge within it’s ear. It looks quite an early example to me but please study my photo’s and ask any questions. The limbs and head are jointed to the body and theyswivel. The fabric is mohair and the bear has glass eyes. His nose is formed as a snout and it has stitched detailing. he has a slight hump to the top of his back. The bear is straw filled,
He measures 5.2inches high (approx. 13cm’s),
He is in good pre-owned condition, some age discolouration and some threadbare patches.He has a hole to one side of his jaw- see photo’s. He is still a strong, loveable bear.
