Charming antique teddy bear of American origin, dating from 1920s
made of gold mohair, stuffed with wood-wool throughout the body and head,
fully jointed,
original orange glass eyes,pronounced muzzle,
black horizontally narrow stitched nose, inverted Y shape mouth stitching is replacement,
original well loved felt pads have been recovered with felt,
remains of original three claws stitching to all limbs,round hump,
has got inoperative cardboard growler in tummy.
Approx. 24″ (61 cm) tall.
Condition – item is in antique condition with some general wear, thinning and balding spots, few repairs to mohair; pads recovered.
