21″ long including tail. Head & body are 16″.
Functional 9″ metal zip on the back, revealing the nightdress compartment.The compartment lining has come away from the outer skin but could easily be stitched back together.
Big doleful amber eyes. Head, neck, paws and tail are stuffed with straw. Hand-stitched. Old school, yo.
No tag but after some research, I think this curious chap might be Merryweather.
Much of the fur, which I think is mohair or sheepskin, has been loved clean off this lil guy’s head… …. but it’s in pretty good nick for something that’s probably around 70-90 years old, no?
