Antique Mohair Teddy Bear Fully Jointed with Velvet CoatClick images to enlargeDescriptionThis auction is for an antique mohair fully jointed bear as pictured. He does show wear as can be seen with his fur a little thin and rubbed to the back of his head and the velvet coat is a little tatty as shown. I believe his pads have been replaced. He is filled with straw (I think – he’s very solid and ‘crinkles’ a little when you move him) and he obviously had a growler but this no longer works.He measures just under 16″ in height.Please see our other auctions for more unusual items , including more antique bears, and to combine postage.Important – please read below:Royal Mail have increased the postal prices. We try to remain as competetive as we can but the price increases have made a big difference to the costs!! Also if shipping quoted is ‘courier’ or ‘freight’ please note this only covers UK mainland, not Highlands, Islands or Northern Ireland; we can send to these destinations but it will be a little more expensive I’m afraid.Payment by cheque or paypal please (UK), and please note that we have a young family and a new baby and can only gurarantee to get to the post office on a Tuesday and Wednesday; we guarantee to post any items paid for by 12.00 noon on Wednesdays but anything after that may have to wait until the following Tuesday.
