This chap is a lovely large early antique teddy bear. His body is filled with wood wool, with a vertically stitched nose and glass eyes.. on long wires. Not suitable for young children. He has a small hump and a long snout. The seam down the middle of his back is hand stitched. In good condition with some mohair loss to his body and with repairs to his paws with some knitting. Please see photos. From a smoke free home. Sorry I do not know the origin of this bear, though he comes from a collection of antique bears. He has the look of a Bing bear or an American stick bear with his long body and limbs.
