Stunningly Beautiful French Doll, made by Francois Gaultier, If my research is correct from 1860 onwards …He made many doll parts for other Doll Company’s in France. This Doll came from the USA, and was given to me from an estate of a huge collection of Dolls.But this lovely one is different , her lovely face and head plate was hand painted by Gaultier including her eyes, she is well painted, i would keep her but the reality is I do not collect Dolls ,….. More into the Clothes for my great clients..
Back to this lovely Doll, it may be a buyer could match her with the correct body , I hope so …. Have put a limit on her but have taken off the price an allowance for good clothes, and the repair…I do not have any clothes that size to fit her.. her measurement is accurate, and she came from a prolific Collector of all dolls , this one did not go through the auction process…

Measurements as follows Length 10 1/2″ Width (all of her tiny waist) 4″
Arms Length a little over 3″ Chin to bottom of the plate is 1″ Width from ear to ear 2″.
Finally She has a tiny plait on the top of her head, which follows her the shape of her head and face and goes almost ear to ear… there are 2 lovely ringlets each side of face , there is some fluffy shapes at the back , which look as if in the past
they were ringlets , and could increase her total, and she has a delightful tiny bun
on the back of her head …
