Antique Chiltern Hugmee Teddy Bear c1920s A real gem of a bear
This English Chiltern is one of the first Hugmee to be produced in the 1920s
So for an old boy of nearly 100 years old hes doing very well
Hes in great condition and has a beautiful face with lovely glass eyes that seem very knowing, I bet he could tell a few talesHe has a stitched shaved muzzle nose , and mouthHe is stuffed in the head with wood wool, so nice and firm and has a softer body filled with kapok which has compressed a little in his arms and legs so they are a bit soft in places.He has original pads on his feet and replacements on his hands, no tares or repairs His joints are all good and he sits and posses well
He has been painstakingly hand cleaned so he will arrive fresh and fluffyHe stands tall at 21 inches
This is a great looking Chiltern who has presence and will enhance any hug collection or home
He has a bow and jingle bells to make him feel the part at Christmas
He will be boxed and sent 2nd class Royal Mail tracked
