An antique C1910 Teddy Bear with boot button eyes.
Made with mohair and filled with excelsior (woodwool) he has original felt paws.
Size is 9 inches (23cm).
Ted has a front closing seam, a squeaker in his tum, this no longer works.
Three paws are in good condition, one has a stitched repair. His left arm has had an old glue repair at the top seam, please see the pictures.
He retains 85% of his mohair, there are a few small bald spots. His nose has worn away and a small part of his mouth is missing.
He was bought in 1990 and been kept in a cabinet with other bears since. His price then was 495.
Now looking for a new home, all offers considered.
