Here is an adorable teddy bear
I sadly don’t know much about him, but was told he dates from the ? 1920s at a teddy bear fair – but this was just what my Mum stated she had been told. But I’m not an expert so really don’t know.
I’m not a teddy bear expert – but will describe him to the best of my ability
he measures approx 14 inches long, he has jointed limbs and a head with turns
he is filled body, head and limbs with wood wool type filling – as you can feel this is a hard wood wool – and see a this through a small hole on one of his paws, as shown in the pictures.
His body – he has a longer snout, with a brown stitched nose, he eyes are glass amber
his body is covered with black mohair, he has a few bald patches of fur – mainly on his front – right foot and left thigh – as you can see on the photos.
His arms are very long – as you can see from the side profile photo, his back to also slightly humbled
He has no makers, only thing I can see – is the back of his neck he has a small piece of white string as shown in a photo
I hope he finds a new loving home
