This teddy bear is in good condition apart from his fur, which has worn away quite a lot
I’m not a teddy expert and so I will describe what I see
The bear is quite firm to the touch and crunches slightly when squeezed – it feels like a wood filling rather than wadding
The fur is quite soft and I don’t think it’s synthetic
It has pale feet and hands made of felt that is worn and stained
The arms are quite long and the hands ‘curl’
The nose and mouth is stitched with black wool
The eyes feel cold and I think are glass, although the back is flat and not rounded
The legs and arms move freely
The bear measures 35cm or 14″ long and weighs approx 400 grams
He needs some TLC!
I am also selling another antique teddy in very good condition – please take a look
