Antique 1920’s Old English Gold Mohair Vintage Teddy Bear 16″ Straw Filled
This is a very old Golden Mohair Teddy Bear that was generously donated to our charity. We were informed the bear is probably English and could date to the 1920’s. The bear has glass eyes and a very distinctive quite noble profile with a distinctive upturned nose. He measures 16″ tall and is full of character.
The bear is very old but in fairly good condition for age with the exception of a hole in his tummy and both his paw pads have worn away revealing the straw stuffing inside. There is also a small indentation to the back of his head. The bear still retains a fair amount of the very old mohair. A really quite old vintage Teddy Bear in need of a little TLC.
A lovely vintage bear with loads of character – really adorable and in need of a good home.
