Hello, my name is Brampton and I am a very well loved, cherished and adored Teddy Bear.I believe that I was born around 1930, but I cannot be certain, and I think that I come from Germany but again, I am not sure.
I am 13 inches tall, I have large orange and black glass eyes and I would have had a hand stitched nose but this has worn.
I have a very unusual working open & close mouth-when you press my tummy and back together with your hand my mouth opens-release it and it closes.
I have a fabulous snout and inside my mouth is the remains of the original red felt.
I have a stubby little tail!
I weigh around 362 grams and because I have been so well loved I need some TLC.One of my eyes is a little loose, I have a small hole in my forehead fur, my arms are devoid of stuffing in some places and so are a little limp and I have a few grubby marks.It is possible that used to have a squeaker in my tummy but I cannot be certain.My fur is faded and rubbed and to be honest I could do with a bath, but since it is not my favourite thing I haven’t let my foster mummy do it!You can see in the photos where I am poorly.I think that I am filled with sawdust or wood wool because I make a slight scrunchy sound when squeezed, but I think I also have some kapok in me.Although I am being well looked after now I would love to belong to someone who will love me as much as I was before.Can you offer me a home?
