This wonderful Antique French Loulou Dog Pyjama Case, Candy Container or Companion Dog dates to around 1910 or thereabouts.He has real curly hair/fur of some sort and glass eyes, both ears, hand painted nose and mouth and detailing around the eyes.
He measures approximately 20 inches in length and around 11 inches to his ear tips.He weighs approximately 899 grams.To his underneath there is a cavity where either pyjamas or confectionery would be placed.His head turns which makes him even more realistic.There is a zip to the underneath and minor wear/discolouration to the pink satin type material.Considering that he is 110 years old I consider him to be in very good vintage condition.

Loulou Dog has been very well loved and will look wonderful amongst any similar collection or on the end of a bed, sofa or chair.
