A very collectable kangaroo & joey teddy bear made by Alresford Crafts in England.
The age of this particular item has been hard to pin down, but I would say in the region of the 1970s – on the history pages they say that the owl, honey bear and kangaroo were highly popular and made around the same time l – this can be easily researched, by viewing pages of the history of Alresford Crafts.
A gorgeous kangaroo with a removable joey. Both have red fabric ears. The fur is honey coloured with black flecks The mum has red / orange eyes They are well stuffed with no sagging.She measures approx 21″ tall from ear to toe.I’m not an official grader of bears but they appear in super condition. She sits up right but has a slight wonk. – fur nice and bright, bright eyes. A real opportunity to add an extra special vintage bear to your collection.Any questions please ask
