This charming Vintage Mohair Teddy Bear called “Bertram” dates to around 1930 – 1950 or thereabouts.I am uncertain as to his Maker, but those with more knowledge than myself will know at a glance.Bertram measures approximately 16.5 inches high and weighs around 501 grams together with his smart grey handmade coat.He is jointed-his head moves as do his arms & legs.He has orange and black eyes, and a hand stitched nose & mouth.He has 5 hand stitched claws to each paw.Bertram has replacement felt pads, a slightly squashed snout and some wear and rubbing to his fur.Considering that he is around 80 years old I consider him to be in good vintage condition, with any signs of wear being commensurate with age and normal use.

Samuel has been very well loved and will look wonderful amongst any Teddy Bear collection.
