Welcome to my Auction for:-
A Vintage 1962 Koala Bear made from real Kangaroo fur
This bear was brought back from Australia in 1962 & has lived with us ever since.
He is made from real Kangaroo fur ( it was acceptable to do this back in the 60’s)
He is in the sitting position & measures approx 9″ in height, that said, he does not sit flat & needs to be either on a stand or propped up against a wall (he has a wonky bottom!)
His original red ribbon has faded somewhat & he has a small scratch on his plastic nose. His plastic claws are all intact as are his amber glass eyes.
He is an original as all Koala bears originating from Australia are now made from synthetic materials & not real fur.
