Another very tatty old ted I have decided to auction. He will be sent with his little needed felted dog & a gorgeous French tin which he sits in. Ted in just 9 inches tall & dates to the 30’s. He would have been fully jointed but both legs are now stitched in place – he is able to sit perfectly well. He is a mix of woodwool & kapok stuffed & is pretty much threadbare with lots of little stitched repairs. He has never had footpads but has one linen pad remaining to his paws – the other needs replacing. He is missing an ear & has replacement eyes & a very pronounced muzzle. His little dog is newly made, needle felted & 3 inches tall – his legs can be manipulated so he is posable and he keeps old ted company. Together they sit in their charming French tin. Please take a good look at the pictures – old ted is far from perfect so please only consider bidding if you like this look.
Please be aware I am a lover of the tattier old teds with oodles of character so bear this mind before buying – no bear will be perfect – far from it – but I guarantee they are all perfectly adorable. I try to list every bear accurately – if there is anything I forget I can only apologise – I try to put plenty of photos up so please take a good look as these form part of the description. I will happily ship overseas but anything over 40 must be tracked & insured xxx
