On the left a beautiful white cotton dress with elaborate broderie anglaise/ cutwork detailing – it is just lovely (little flowers have also been stitched to the dress as shown but I think these have been added at a later date). There are reams of fabric – it is 42 inches long by 9 inches underarm to underarm & it is shown on my portly 20 inch bear to give an idea of size. It is in lovely overall condition – no tears but a couple of very feint marks which you have to look for to see. A beautiful dress for a collector & lovely displayed.
On the right a lovely old white cotton dress – quite plain with a pretty hem and little trim to the neck – lots of fabric. It is 36 inches long & 11 inches underarm to underarm. It is in lovely condition with just one small patched repair done many moons ago. A lovely dress – very pretty displayed on an old bear or doll x
