Ive been collecting bears for over 40 years but now need to rehome some of my collection as I am downsizing Meet sweet Susie, a 16″ 1930s Chiltern Hugmee bear. She is 5-way jointed with card-lined feet. Her head slumps slightly but this is characteristic of the Hugmee bear and adds to her appeal. She has an excellent coverage of mohair but she does have thinning and a hole in her head … could be sun damage, her muzzle has been darned. I haven’t altered her in any way because I found it part of her appeal, however, I’m sure she could be restored. I haven’t repaired any of her paws either, these are as I bought her many years ago. She is a typical Hugmee with a shaved, pointed muzzle, the distinctive nose design, with two extended outer stitches, a wide smile, long, curved arms and drumstick legs with velveteen pads. I have added plenty of photographs, which form part of the description. Please ask any questions and note that she is an old girl so has many imperfections. I shall pack her carefully and post her First Class, Signed For, for peace of mind with delivery.
**I own a vast collection of old bears and do need to downsize so please message me if there is a particular bear you are looking for**
