19″ Antique Straw Filled Mohair Teddy Bear Disc Jointed With Glass Eyes & Collar
Lovely old very characterful teddy bear! His head, torso, arms and legs are all filled with straw. He has a moving disc jointed head and disc jointed moving arms and legs. Mohair fur. His eyes are made of glass. A nice weighty solid feel to him. He has velvet pads and paws and a leather collar
Condition: Age wear/missing mohair. All mohair gone from head. Bad repair with wool to one jointed arm – would benefit from re-sew. Nose would also benefit from re-sew. Wear to the velvet/missing velvet on the pads/ paws. Some wear/small holes to the cloth in places.
Such a wonderful old bear with so many different expressions!
