Comet is a wonderful Steiff bear and could be brothers with Sid the other 18″ Steiff ted only Comet is a little older c1915 measuring 18″ with ff button in ear. As you can see poor Comet has lost his sense of smell but not his sense of humour ;o) His mohair is what I would describe as very pale blonde with around 60% remaining (good coverage on the back). He has his original woven linen cloth pads (one hand pad has an insert). Comet is solidly stuffed with wood wool with a non working growler and is a very strong sturdy old fella I have left him noseless but you could have a nose if you wanted to.
