A truly fabulous old Steiff monkey – he has lost his button but there is a small hole in his ear where it would have been. He is 11 inches tall, fully jointed and straw stuffed with a non-working squeaker – he also has a great mohair covering. His pads show minor signs of wear but are generally good for his age – he is a good 50 years old if not more – but his face is definitely his fortune – he has the most wonderful life-like eyes which the pictures have really picked up. He is a lovely and very special monkey looking for a home and he will come as pictured in his old woollies xxxx
Please be aware I am a lover of the tattier old teds with oodles of character so bear this mind before buying – no bear will be perfect – far from it – but I guarantee they are all perfectly adorable. I try to list every bear accurately – if there is anything I forget I can only apologise – I try to put plenty of photos up so please take a good look as these form part of the description. I happily post overseas but anything over 40 in value HAS to be tracked hence overseas postage may seem a lot – if postage is less than quoted I will happily refund the difference.
