What can I tell you about this wonderful Bing teddy bear dating to c1920 and measuring an imposing 25″. This gentle giant is solidly stuffed with wood wool and has a now non working growler that clunks when he is shaken. He retains around 40% of his now faded blonde mohair with balding mainly to front chest arms, and top of his head. There have been a couple of threads added at some point to his original nose stitching. He has his original large painted back glass eyes and retains all of his claw stitching. He has some old darned repairs to the top and sides of his lovely typical Bing profile nose and some stitches to his chest by his left arm. His hand pads have been recovered long ago with stripy cotton material and foot pads also recovered in an unusual brown printed patterned cloth almost flower power pattern. Sadly Bing were forced to cease trading in 1932 making these wonderful charismatic bears very sought after today
Thanks for looking
