Here’s dear old Rosie, a lovably-slumpy, pink mohair Chiltern ted c.1930s. She’s 50 cms (20″) tall, and stuffed with kapok (head woodwool). Rosie has been greatly loved, but still has her original brushed cotton pads, showing minimal wear. She also has large back-painted glass eyes, now mostly clear, and could be old replacements, as with her nose and mouth stitching.
Rosie’s stuffing has settled around her upper torso making her head droop in a rather fetching fashion. Her right arm is also fairly squidgy through being carried around. All joints work fine and, although much of her fur has been loved away, it’s still a good colour.
Being an old lady, Rosie has some age marks to her backing cloth, but she’s proud to have survived all these years, warts & all! She can still muster a big grin. This charming bear is wearing her pink-themed, handknitted ensemble, ready to move to a new home. Thanks for looking.
