You are bidding on a Vintage Teddy Bear, I think he may be a Steiff or a Chiltern, but I am NOT sure, so if and any kind ebayer can help I would value your opinion. Either way he is a lovely Old Bear, with long felt covered Paws, Eyes on Wire (so NOT child Friendly), he has sort of curly fur Mohair I think. He has no label or button. He has a wool nose and wool claws. I am no expert so Please ask any questions or for more photos for you to decide. I am also selling part of a family collection of Dolls and teddy Bears, which vary in age, some are from the 1900s others from early 2000. I am happy to combine postage to spread the cost, please look at all my other items.
Condition – Cuddled & LOVED – Some wear to paws, all claws present, one paw has been re-sewn, left eye has been broken in half and glued back (see last photo) some wear to fur, especially around the nose (been kissed away)head falls forward, but that gives him aged character – Please see close up flash photos.Good Clean Colour and strong Colours – Please see close up flash photos.
