Selling this lovely bear. I don’t know exactly how old he is, he was passed on to me by an elderly friend about 20 years ago from their collection. I do know they had this bear for a long time before it was passed to me, and he was very treasured.He has been well taken care of so is in wonderful condition. There are no tags of any sort. He has a felt ‘rain coat’ with metal eyelets, and hat and wellies (the wellies are a more modern addition to his outfit of course, the original owner bought them because my sister and I enjoyed dressing up the bear in his rain gear when we came to visit as children). He could possibly be a Paddington Bear, I don’t know.
He is firm and stiff, not floppy. Eyes and nose are plastic.The rain coat has two small holes at the back by teddy’s right arm and is wearing a little thin in places. Bear itself is in perfect condition.
Bear is approx. 55cm tall.
He has been in storage in the loft for past 20 years so I’d rather him go to a new home where he can be appreciated.
