This vintage monkey nightdress case is made from a really soft, silky mohair material in white. Unusual I think.
There is no label but I understand it to be Farnell. It is the shape and position of other Farnell monkeys with legs 2 long and 2 short.
His felt hands are in perfect condition. One foot has one small moth hole and a tiny split and the other foot has one tiny split. I hope the photos show this.
The face has a couple of tiny moth spots but overall the felt is great for his age. The eyes are old blue buttons.
Felt ears have no moth.
Arms, legs and tail are stuffed with wood wool I believe it’s called.
Zip is good and works well and nightie compartment is clean.
The head and body measures about 16 inches plus tail and leg length.
The colour and fur are so nice.
