This lovely vintage teddy bear is in need of some tlc!! – Please see photos for condition.
He was made by The Chad Valley Co during the 1950s – label on right foot. Unfortunately teddy is currently blind – has lost his original eyes, but does have his original black stitched nose and mouth.
He measures approximately 15″ in height (once head has been re attached!!) and is made from a lovely gold coloured mohair – general thinning and bald patches especially to front of teddy.
He is stuffed with a mixture of wood wool and kapok stuffing and has a non working squeaker in his tummy.
Once he has been re united with his cute head – he will make a lovely little example of a 1950s Chad Valley teddy bear.
