I believe that this lovely old teddy bear was made during the 1940s/1950s by the British teddy bear making company Chad Valley, although there is no evidence of a makers label.
He is very firmly stuffed with a kapok stuffing throughout and measures approximately 14″ in height.
He is fully jointed – all joints are nice and tight. He has his original orange/black glass eyes – his right eye is partly missing.
He has the remains of his original black stitched nose.
At some point in the past, his pads have been lovingly replaced with a brown felt, but this does not detract from him being a gorgeous old boy!!
He is made from a lovely gold coloured mohair – he maintains approximately 35% of his mohair.
He has a non working squeaker in his tummy.
Please look carefully at the photos as these form part of his description.
He is looking for his new forever home!!
Any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me and I will endeavour to help.
