A beautiful vintage teddy bear who is about 18 inches tall, and 12 inches seated. He has an endearing, characterful face and when his tummy is pressed he plays the Brahms lullaby very clearly and beautifully.
He has amber and black coloured glass eyes, and a hand stitched nose and mouth. There is an age related darker area around pointed snout and his head is filled with wood wool. His body is filled with kapok.
He has brown velvet paw pads which have a few scuffs and he is missing most of his hand stitched claws these days, but then I suppose he doesnt need them any more !
He is in need of care and attention as he has be torn and his right paw needs restuffing but careful stitching could make him even more handsome.
He is no longer suitable as a toy. He is a collectors item only. Please study the photos provided and zoom in on them as they also form part of the description.
