This is an estate bear which I believe dates to the 1930s; found among the childhood effects of a woman born 1930. This is a rather skinnier than average bear whose arms and legs move in pairs, ie not independently of one another. This bear has glass eyes, stitched features and a press ‘squeak’ feature which no longer works. Fur is evenly worn but reasonably good for age. There are staples evident at the ‘shoulder’ and ‘hips’ which look to be original to production.
I do not know the maker, or country of origin, but collectors will recognise him if he comes from a good family.
