This is something you don’t see every day! …I have never seen another bear like this. He is a Schuco perfume bottle teddy bear with jewel eyes, and not the usual short bristle mohair normally found on Schucos. His mohair is quite long.
He has a metal body with jointed arms and legs. The head can be removed to reveal a concealed perfume bottle. This is intact , but with only part of the cork stopper.
His most interesting feature is those sparkly jewel eyes, in a yellowish / amber colour, with metal rims. I have seen a yes / no Schuco fox with these eyes, but not a bear. He has his original nose and mouth stitching.
The remains of his red ribbon is on his neck.
The mohair is thick and quite long for such a little bear (5″), and is in lovely clean condition in a pale gold colour. There are no unpleasant odours.
He’s a charming little bear, and I don’t think you’ll see another like this for a long time!
