A really stunning Edwardian cloak – not perfect – but still strong, clean & beautiful – it is an exquisite piece despite the damage. I have shown it on my portly 20 inch bear – it is 15 inches long & open at the front with a ribbon to fasten (be aware there are no arms). As you can see there is a little damage as follows :a few mothholes – I have photographed the worst area to the collar. a larger hole to the front which is shown in picture 8 & can be seen in picture 6 if you look closely – it is slightly larger than a 50p pence piece. a small mark to the far right of the collar which can be seen in picture 1.
The cloak is in a buttermilk woollen fabric with exquisite pale gold embroidery and it is lined partially in silk. It has been washed & is clean & fresh. Please be aware of the damage before buying – as you can see it looks wonderful displayed – a real statement piece xxx
