This is a very very cute bear! He is a limited edition (923/4000) Museum Collection Replica of a 1913 Teddy Bear known as Record Teddy.
He’s such a special poppet, so much so .. I was / am tempted to keep him!
He’s a beautiful mohair all original teddy, with a metal frame wooden wheels and a pully rope. When you pull him along he goes up … and down and also squeaks – CUTE!
His height is hard to describe but in his seated low move position he stands around 9 inches tall, by 10 inches long (excluding the pully rope).
He would make a totally adorable addition to a collection or the perfect Christmas present! If he is purchased at the buy it now price I will also include a special free gift of a vintage steiff mirror (please feel free to message me on my buyoldbears address below for further info).

Vintage Teddy Bear Collection – 7 Different – Mixed Sizes

This is a set of 7 vintage Teddy Bears made around the 1950’s.They are 3 x Pedigree Bears, 1 lovely Bear of unknown origin, 2 Sooty type Bears and a Panda Bear.These bears have not been cleaned or restored in any way and are in reasonable condition for their age. This set of bears cost me £160 from a collector when I acquired them. So here is an opportunity to get a genuine bargain on some lovely character bears!!The sizes range from 30 inches for the largest down to 13 inches for the smallest.Please let me know if you need any more information about these bears.

Antique / Vintage 17inch CHILTERN MOHAIR TEDDY BEAR 1950s with label

Welcome to my auction   I specialise in original vintage bears in the best possible condition, so the more discerning collectors can source genuine old bears that they will be proud to own.
I have been working with bears for 40 years now, so any purchase you make from me can be done with the greatest of confidence – I have many very happy customers, many of whom are repeat buyers who appreciate the quality and integrity in my listings!
I particularly specialise in Steiff Chiltern bears and musical bears but I also have other bears when I find examples of the required quality.

ITEM DESCRIPTION
Layaway available on all bears please ask for details   This is a really stunning all original 17 inch Chiltern mohair Teddy Bear dating to 1950s, in excellent condition.
He is looking for a new family to love him now that she has lost her original owner after many years.
Ted is an exceptionally Beautiful bear, measuring 17 inches standing, 12 inches in seated position and is in excellent clean condition throughout – please see photos.

he comes from a pet free, smoke free home.

Ted is made from a really nice grade of mohair and is a soft gold colour, and has 99% mohair coverage NO FUR MISSING
he is fully jointed – all his joints are in good working order – there are no loose ones so she sits perfectly – there are no rips or tears to his mohair fabric .

he has the most endearing original amber eyes and original black nose .
Teds paw and foot pads are all original and in good condition for his age .
All in all he is a superb example of a 1950s Chiltern bear in excellent, clean condition and you can buy with confidence – he is a wonderful old Teddy with bags of character looking for a new home!
Ted will be sent out by courier on a next day delivery. (except weekends )
