This wonderful bear – Tufty – is an old 1940’s Chiltern – he has the most beautiful face. He is 14.5 inches tall but looks smaller as he is a little floppy – I personally feel it adds to his charm and old bear appeal. He is a mix of woodwool and kapok stuffed and has original pads which have worn back to the fabric – they are all intact – and he retains some of his claw stitching. His mohair coverage is not bad – about 60% – and he is still a lovely strong bear although he does have a green stain to the back of one leg as pictured. He has the most beautiful face – a lovely gentle smile and comes in his vintage coat and pants to protect his modesty. A lovely old chap who will not disappoint xxx

Please be aware I am a lover of the tattier old teds with oodles of character so bear this mind before buying – no bear will be perfect – far from it – but I guarantee they are all perfectly adorable. I happily post overseas but anything over 40 in value HAS to be tracked hence overseas postage may seem a lot – if postage is less than quoted I will happily refund the difference. In very good condition, a bit worn in places but he’s a real vintage and was well loved, he’s at least 40 years old!

Charming Teddy BearHeight: 19 inches.All joints work well, glass eyes.Overall condition is fair.Loss of fur, couple of stitches on his face and possibly a little grubby but charming and would sit well on any book shelf.
