Circa 1920’s, this is Wilfred, a character from the cartoon strip Pip, Squeak & WilfredHe is a straw filled toy with mohair furHeight to top of his wonderful ears 17 inchesMade by English maker Farnell
Condition – In good played with condition, one eye missing, the remaining glass eye is cracked. Nose & mouth stitching gone, fur coverage is very good

A sweet 1930’s Mickey Mouse velvet stuffed toyApprox 8 inches in heightHe has little boot button eyes and 3 of his original tiny yellow buttons on his breechesUnder his bow you can just see his registration numberCondition -In pretty good condition for his age. Small hole to one felt ear. Feet are just starting to show signs of wear, hands and face slightly discoloured with age

One of his little yellow buttons is missing, I believe he would have had a tail but this is missing

REDUCED!! Early 1930s Vintage Antique Old Teddy Bear German Hermann

This lovely vintage teddy bear was made during the 1930’s and I think he was made by the Germany company Hermann.

He is fully jointed – joints are very slightly loose – and he is made from a sparse short pile gold coloured mohair.

He is all original and is filled with a wood wool filling throughout and has a non working squeaker in his back.

He still has his original clear ears with painted backs which are reddish in colour and painted black pupils, which indicates an early example of a Hermann teddy bear.

He has his original black stitched nose and mouth.

He has brown cloth pads and just has balding to the front of his right leg.

He measures approximately 15″ in height.

He is a lovely, early old German teddy bear of 80 years plus – photos do not do him justice!!
