This fantastic Chad Valley rabbit was made in the 1930’s and may be a version of Wilfred Rabbit
from the Pip, Squeak & Wilfred cartoons. He is a five ways jointed rabbit and is stuffed with
a mixture of kapok and wood wool and although his joints are a bit loose and he is a little schlumpy
he is still able to support himself in the sitting position and displays very nicely. He is 19″ tall from
his feet to the top of his head, not including his huge rabbit ears which are 10″ long.

Wilfred is in loved condition with a few stitched repairs here and there, replacement vintage glass
eyes and some bare areas to his mohair, but most of his original features are intact and he has retained
approximately 75% coverage overall. He is quite rare in this jointed form and has a Chad Valley celluloid
button in his right ear which reads ‘CHAD VALLEY BRITISH HYGENIC TOYS’ and dates him to circa 1930.

This unusual Chad Valley character rabbit is being offered
with a very reasonable ‘buy it now price’ for a rare toy but,
as ever, I am open to all sensible offers.

RARE antique vintage old Einco Tubby dog / c.1915 teddy bear friend 14″

Rare to find antique Einco Tubby dog of a large size of 14″ long, dating from c.1915,

made of gold (discoloured) mohair, stuffed with wood-wool throughout the body and head,
fully jointed,

has got replacement custom made eyes, original black vertically stitched nose, smiling mouth stitching,well loved red cloth tongue,

original three claws stitching with claws worn-out on right front leg.

Dog is approx. 14″ long and 10″ tall (in standing position).

Condition – item is in vintage condition with general wear, thinning, balding patches and discolouration.
