Straw filled antique teddy bear with movable joints. Face features worn away. Some slight marks eyes missing.

Cute little vintage jointed teddy bear with glass eyes

This little teddy bear is jointed and has short golden curly fur but he is a little grubby from being cuddled.His glass eyes have painted backs, there is a slight loss of paint to one. He has an embroidered nose and claws and I think his paw pads are made from the reverse of the plush fabric.

I think this looks like one of the types of teddy which were being made in Europe, probably Poland , around the 1950’s but there are no labels.

He is in good condition with a good covering of fur. Please bear in mind that as he has been around for 60 years or more he is not as fresh and clean as he once was so he really could do with a nice gentle surface wash to freshen him up.
