Popular with collectors and interior designers alike.

Originally had a makers label to his front paw which is missing.

Make a great prop or shop display item.

All my items are weighed before listing and a little extra weight added for the wrapping. Occasionally a parcel may be a little lighter once wrapped than I anticipated and therefore cheaper to post. Mr Heston – Rare Dapper 1920’s Rudolf Haas Old Antique Mohair Hump Teddy Bear
Introducing this dapper gent. This is Mr Heston! He is a weighty Teddy Bear made by the now sought after Rudolf Haas in the 1920’s. He is fully jointed, stands around 18.5 inches tall and is fully stuffed firmly with woodwool. He is covered in ash blonde mohair, has original cotton twill pads and original painted back glass eyes.
He has a super handsome shape to him with lovely firm, straight arms & legs along a strong snout with a huge hump!
He has a very clunky old currently inactive growler and sports a rather dapper vintage bow.
It’s amazing to think he’s coming up to 100 years old, he’s such a brilliant example of an antique ted and really stands out from the crowd!! (got to love a hump!!!).
Could you be the new special home to have a spot for Mr Heston to perch in?

Vintage 1950s CHAD VALLEY English Gold Mohair Jointed Old Teddy Bear, 16″ Tall

Chad Valley BearThis gorgeous Chad Valley teddy is made of orange mohair. With red & black plastic eyes and a black stitched nose and mouth. Fully 5 ways jointed and fabric covered paw pads. Woodwool stuffing to head, and sub stuffing to body and limbs. Original label is missing. Squeaker in tummy still works.
Teddy measures approx 16″ tall.Condition:In good and clean vintage playworn condition. Some light thinning and flattening to fur all over. Small black mark to the back of arm. Squeak in tummy still works.
