Please note ..Items i will be selling are antique/vintage in pre owned condition,they will have signs of age but any damage/repair will be mentioned please study photos & read description ….. A lovely Old bear,measuring 15 inches high,black buttons for eyes stitched nose & original leather pads(worn).Jointed arms & legs,his head would of moved(but has been stitched(crudely)as i acquired him..He has been well loved & held and his fur is now thread bare with just a small amount of fur remaining(please study photos).I can feel the remains of a squeaker/growler in his tummy(not working)..With His faults he still is adorable..Thank you

WONDERFUL, VINTAGE / ANTIQUE, BLACK MOHAIR TEDDY BEAR DOG- POSS FARNELL- 1930’S

Here we have a wonderful antique toy teddy bear dog,possibly made by the British firm Farnell, circa 1930.Feels to be stuffed entirely with wood wool and has beautiful jet black mohair with just a splattering of fading to the tips.Head is jointed,so swivels and he is in the seated position.As pictures show the mohair to head is clipped giving a different texture to the thicker mohair else where.Original large oily glass eyes.Stitched nose and mouth intact.Measures 11″ from pads to tip of head and 16″ from tip of head to tip of tail.Condition is overall very good to excellent, with only very minor wear to a few areas including top of ear.Displays beautifully with other vintage and antique toys.

VERY RARE Vintage Antique Old Blue Coloured Mohair Chiltern Teddy Bear

This very rare teddy bear was made by Chiltern during the 1940s and is in wonderful condition for its age.

He is made in a lovely curly blue mohair – this has faded and become a bit sparse over the years, but his original blue colour can still be seen on the inside of his legs and around his joints.

His tummy is rather sparse nowadays from all the cuddles he has received over the years – please see photos for condition, but this just adds to his character.

He is fully jointed – all joints are lovely and tight, he has his original orange/black glass eyes and original black stitched nose – with raised outer stitches and black stitched mouth.

He is stuffed with a mixture of wood wool and kapok stuffing and has a non working squeaker in his tummy.

He still has his original velveteen pads – some wear and tear and they could do with a little clean. He maintains some of his original stitched claws.

This lovely Chiltern teddy bear is a very rare find in this lovely blue mohair – photos do not do him justice and he is looking for his new forever home.
