she was originally a very plain unloved Russ teddy bear which is good quality. She has been artistically vintage styled, with antique cotton dress, stitching, Shading and patching to give her personality and originality. She was is one of a kind and altered by me. She is a big teddy, approximately 16″.She will make a lovely gift. She is not for children under 14 years old due to small parts.

Vintage Teddy Bear And Rare Chiltern Pixi Bear!

Two best friends in need of a good home…. together!Little Chiltern pixi bear, with original label, is approx 11.5 inches, well played with, but very sweet. He/ she has a vinyl face ( a little dusty, with the odd little mark here and there) and floppy, unjointed legs ( bit like American knee hugger type dolls). At one time, pixi rode a little tricycle. I imagine he/ she dates around the 1960’s, but only a guess – could be older? With little blue pom-poms on feet and at top of pointy hat, this little character oozes charm. A rare and super-cute addition to any vintage toy/ bear collection.Teddy is unjointed, tatty, stitched up his tummy, worn… but has been totally loved by someone for many years. He has a little rattle in his head. Again, perhaps from the 1950’s / 60’s, but can’t be sure. Measuring approx 12″, Ted is a cute little bear, in need of a loving home.Both bears are from a smoke – free home and are odour free.Any questions, please ask. Thank you for looking at my auction.
